I have bad knees so squatting always scared me, it made my knees hurt. When I first started CFBR, Coach Cole had me squatting to a box and I realized that I was never taught the correct way because my knees didn’t hurt when I did it. It took me three months of practice getting over the mental fear for my knees and a lot of, “a little lower,” “knees out,” from Coach Jessi and Jeff for me to nail the movement.
