Constant Improvement and Efficiency of Movement

One of the great things about our training is that everyone will find something they are good at. However, there’s always something you learn you aren’t naturally good at. Everyone likes to work on their strengths and dreads when they see one of their weaknesses come around. Just remember those are the areas where you can make big improvements quickly, with the right coaching and some concentrated effort you can crush your weaknesses!

We at ForgedFit are always finding ways to improve for you, some big, some small, but there’s always something we are working to improve. When this week’s Crossfit Games Open WOD was announced I realized there was something about our gym set-up that would slow people down. The wall for wallball is 30 feet away from the bars for toes to bar. Now this may not seem like a big deal, built in rest period right? We want to make you better athelets and one way to do that is to cut out unnecessary movement in your technique or in between movements in order to focus your energy on productive work. Making you more effecient and working smarter. So we built targets and bolted them to the pull-up bars!

Wallball targets mounted and waiting to have our logo painted on!You’ll be seeing many more improvements, new things, and changes in general in the comning weeks and months. Stay tuned! It’s going to be an adventure!
