Our Member Brie, on Why She Loves CrossFit

This is why I love what I do! Thank you, Brie for inspiring us and so many others!

So typically I try to avoid talking about crossfit on fb. I’ve posted a few things but over all I keep my love for all things crossfit to a minimum, but tonight I can’t. Every day I walk into that gym as nervous as I was the first day I started & every night I walk out a sore, sweaty, nasty mess who feels like the biggest bad ass even though she can’t do crap compared to all the other lovelies in that gym that I admire so much.

Every day those same, amazing women take their time to help & lead the struggling newbies like myself with words of encouragement and suggestions to help us get to be strong like them. I’ve been to & worked at globo gyms before for yrs and never did any of those “hot” gym bunnies stop to offer me help or suggestions when I clearly didn’t know what I was doing but these ladies (and gents) help every day. I just can’t thank these ladies enough for showing me to focus on getting strong not skinny, and by showing others what a real team is like. Thank you CFBR for all that you do, I can’t wait to hit it again tomorrow.
